And I didn't think people would take my words seriously--it was a joke! A joke! Why don't people around here know what good fun is...?

What about that one painting, what if we got him to bait Peeves and then lead him on some sort of chase? If Peeves were to make some sort of trouble Callus'd be off after him like a shot! Dunno how well it'd work out, but might well be something to think about.
I did charm it! I just charmed it away from anyone that'd go and report me for that lovely nickname of mine, not just to you and me. And I'd well prefer that no-one knew we were the ones behind the quicksand prank until we're off and gone for summer, eh?

We could get that Creevey kid to run and tell ol' Callus about something Peeves is mucking about with, and he'd come running all the same. And we wouldn't have to worry about Peeves throwing a... what's that muggle phrase Prof. Ed is always spouting? Thowing a spanner in the works? Or something. Whatever. Anyway, that gives us a plan A and B.

We could always get a first-year to write it. Most of the professors don't recognize their writing as easily at this point, and the whole lot of them are gullible.
Might be able to talk Lily into it... But Dad would kill me if she got in trouble.

Anyway. Teddy's usually up for doing this sort of thing and not going on about it to anyone.
